Vendor Rentals


The Loker Student Union, Inc. offers a commercial vendors rentals as a way for small businesses who are registered through the City or the State Board of Equalization to gain access to sell items to the campus community. It provides an opportunity for a variety of items not available on campus to be sold on campus. Vendors are scheduled based on availability. Frequently Asked Questions


  • Vendors must adhere to ethical business practices as mandated by the State of California. Businesses may be verified through the Franchise Tax Board, District Attorney’s office, and/or the Better Business Bureau. A copy of the vendor’s valid state-issued driver’s license or identification card and your State Board of Equalization Seller’s Permit/Business License must be submitted with the Vendors Agreement (both required when selling a product).
  • Vendors who have multiple representative(s) are required to submit a list of all representatives, business cards for each representative, and a copy of each representative’s valid state-issued driver’s license or identification card. If unable to present business cards, a list of each representative on letterhead may also be accepted.
  • No invasive procedures to individuals may be performed on campus (i.e. ear piercing, tattoos, etc.)
  • Food and food products are not allowed.
  • Credit card and bank vendors are not eligible to participate due to exclusive contractual obligations with other entities on campus.
  • Products which promote illegal activities or deemed unacceptable by the LSU will not be allowed.
  • Vendors are required to load and unload in the LSU Loading Dock. Vendors may NOT drive vehicles onto the East Walkway. Vehicles must be removed from the LSU Loading Dock and parked in a designated parking space once all items have been loaded or unloaded. Vehicles left in the LSU Loading Dock are subject to tow at the vehicle owner’s expense.
  • The East Walkway may be used as a fire lane. The LSU assumes no liability for any damage or loss to vendor’s property, person, or equipment in the case of an emergency.
  • The LSU does not accept responsibility for lost, damaged, or stolen items.
  • Amplified sound must be approved by the LSU in advance.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing no later than two (2) business days prior to reservation date. Failure to cancel in advance may result in a no-show fee and vendor may not be eligible for a refund. The LSU reserves the right to cancel any current or future reservations without notice to vendor. All outstanding balances must be paid in full prior to the next reservation. It is the vendor’s responsibility to notify the Reservations & Event Services Office of any inability to arrive for their reservation. Please send cancellations to [email protected].
