Assistant to the Director
The Assistant to the Director is a position in the Donald P. and Katherine B. Loker University Student Union, Inc. (LSU.) The incumbent will be a LSU non-exempt, full-time staff employee and will adhere to the rules, regulations and employment standards established by the Donald P. and Katherine B. Loker University Student Union, Inc. Under general supervision of the Director of the Donald P. and Katherine B. Loker University Student Union, Inc. (LSU), the person in this position will serve as the personal and confidential assistant to the Director.

Building Maintenance Assistant
The Building Maintenance Assistant is responsible for collaborating with the Building Maintenance Supervisor in proper operation and maintenance of the LSU and ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of the facility. Under general supervision, they perform general carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work on maintenance, repair and remodeling projects. The Building Maintenance Assistant constructs moderately complex projects such as interior walls, stages, cabinets and shelves. Repairs, maintains, and paints the following: walls, doors, windows, furniture, and flooring. Maintains and repairs plumbing systems, including drains, valves, and hot/cold water service. Performs electrical repairs, and maintains shop and work areas. They perform other duties as assigned, including coordination with University Physical Plant, procurement of parts and contract supervision as necessary.

Business Operations Manager
Under general supervision by the Assistant Director (Business and Commercial Services), the Business Operations Manager has primary responsibility for the accounting and payroll activities of the Student Union. These responsibilities include managing accounting and payroll service providers, AP/AR transaction processing, purchase order processing, and serving as custodian for petty cash. Responsibilities also include serving as payroll timekeeper, responding to payroll inquiries, and supporting audits and financial statement reporting. The Business Operations Manager supports business process development, budget review, fiscal policy development and ensures compliance with GAAP and GASB standards. In the absence of the Assistant Director (Business and Commercial Services), the incumbent assumes duties necessary to ensure business continuity and accurate and timely financial reporting.

Marketing Communication Specialist
Under general direction of the Assistant Director, Engagement and Development, the incumbent will support innovative, effective, and relevant production and execution of LSU campaigns utilizing print, digital and engagement strategies to meet the needs of the LSU and CSUDH communities. The Marketing and Communications Specialist is responsible for the creation, development, implementation, and evaluation of all LSU design, marketing, production, resources and services of the unit. Responsibilities include oversight of the daily operation, print and digital production and brand management. Additional duties include establishment and implementation of annual marketing goals, analytics, and industry best practices. This role coordinates the creation and distribution of promotional collateral and maintains professional relationships with both on and off-campus colleagues, vendors, and suppliers.

Program Coordinator
Under general direction and supervision by the Assistant Director, Engagement and Development, the position of Programs Coordinator has primary responsibility for the programming functions of the Student Union and includes the planning, producing, marketing, trouble-shooting, and evaluating of a regular series of activities and programs; advisement and on-going development of a student programming body; assisting in the design, coordination, and execution of employee training and development programs; coordination and execution of special events; support to campus student life programs.
